Dear Ridgefield Community,
This fall’s sport season at Tiger Hollow will be special – not only because of the hope of normalcy – but because we will be celebrating 20 years of Tiger Hollow. In the fall of 2001, based on Dave Landers vision, a lead gift from the Larry Bossidy family and support from the town, the newly built Tiger Hollow Stadium hosted its first game. 20 years later the community continues to benefit from the private/public partnership that was created.
Since then, hundreds of businesses and individual families have contributed millions in donations or in-kind gifts to Tiger Hollow Inc, the charitable arm of Tiger Hollow Stadium. These gifts support the continuing capital needs for our state-of-the-art sports facilities that is home to Ridgefield High School student athletes and youth of Ridgefield. Most of what you experience in the hollow comes from a private donation – Tiger Hollow 1&2 fields, the Stadium (Press Box/Concession Area), Bleachers, Field Lights, Scoreboards, Maintenance Facility/Equipment, Weight Room, The Covid Outdoor weight set, Irrigation System and the list goes on. We are also grateful for town support of funding for post install returfing and resurfacing maintenance projects.
With that in mind, we are excited to announce the 20 Years of Tiger Hollow Sponsorship Opportunities for our Celebration Events to support our mission of furthering the education and athletic experiences of the children of Ridgefield through perpetual support of future select capital projects at Tiger Hollow.
Gather 20 To Celebrate 20
During October, our goal is to host 20 cocktail parties in private homes throughout Ridgefield where the host gathers 20 others. Each attendee is asked to donate a minimum of 100 dollars to Tiger Hollow Inc as part of their attendance. If you are interested in hosting or would like to attend a gathering, please contact Christine Carnicelli.
November 5th – RHS Home Football Game Honoring 20 Years of Tiger Hollow
At half time we will honor those who made Tiger Hollow Possible.
Spring '22 - Tiger Hollow Speedway Day
On the new speedy fast track, participants will be the first in the community to show off their 1 mile sprint, run or walk speed in age bracketed time trails. Time trails will be spread throughout the day for youth – adults with prizes for top times. Food vendors will be on site. Sponsors will be highlighted on our giveaway drawstring bags and on the Tiger Hollow Scoreboard. Registration will be $15 dollars per person.
You can support of all these events by becoming a 2021-2022 20 Years of Tiger Hollow RHS Athletics Sponsor. All donors will be recognized at each of these events and through our RHS Tiger Scoreboard/Banner Donor Program. For businesses that participate you can reach thousands of Ridgefield and surrounding area families. RHS facilities host multiple sports and community events in both the fall and spring seasons, and when combined with indoor advertising at the RHS Gymnasium, this program can give your company full year visibility within our community. Please see attached for more details or for more information please contact AJ Romeo at Romeo.firstname.lastname@example.org
We could not have made the last 20 years possible without your support. Please take the time to consider the next 20 and the positive effects your individual or business participation will have on our athletics program, our community and your business. We thank you in advance for helping to make RHS Athletics “Best in Class” for our students and the entire Ridgefield community. If you have any questions, please contact any of us and we will be pleased to speak further with you.
